On Monday, June 23, Dolly Parton announced that she’s heading to Las Vegas for a special six-show residency this December.

The limited run of performances will take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Of course, getting the chance to see a legend like Dolly is a big deal, but what makes this even more special is that it will be her first time performing a series of back-to-back shows in Las Vegas in over 30 years.

It is also rare to see the country music icon perform multiple shows in a row these days. She announced her retirement from full-time touring after her Pure & Simple Tour in 2016.

That’s why it probably doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Dolly’s Las Vegas residency has already sold out.

Tickets for all six shows went on sale through Ticketmaster on Wednesday, June 25 at 10 AM Pacific Time.

According to the Neon Review Journal, the queue for fans trying to get tickets just one minute later had already exceeded 700,000. There were only 26,000 tickets available across all six dates.

Not long after tickets went on sale, Ticketmaster officially announced that all six shows had sold out in less than an hour and a half. Caesars Palace then confirmed the news shortly after with a post on their social media.

“Thank you to all the fans who logged on for tickets to Dolly: Live in Las Vegas today,” the company wrote. “The demand far exceeded the available tickets and there are no more tickets available at this time.”

Details are still limited about what Dolly has planned for these shows. However, it has been confirmed that she will perform some of the most iconic songs from her seven-decade career.

The scheduled dates for Dolly Parton’s upcoming Las Vegas shows are December 4, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 13.

As of now, it’s unclear whether additional shows will be added in the future, but it’s always possible!
