The View’ host Alyssa Farah Griffin gives birth to first baby with husband Justin
Alyssa Farah Griffin is enjoying the view as a new mom.
The 36-year-old has given birth to her and husband Justin Griffin’s first child, welcoming a baby boy.
Whoopi Goldberg made the announcement on “The View” Wednesday, gushing, “The first thing we want to do is start by congratulating Alyssa and her husband Justin on the birth of their baby boy.”
She noted that the little one arrived at seven pounds and 19.5 inches.
Alyssa was notably absent from the show on Tuesday, with Goldberg telling viewers she was “at the hospital now” and in labor.
“We are wishing her the best as she waits for her baby boy to arrive,” Goldberg said. “It’s kind of fabulous! Welcome that baby!”
Alyssa debuted her bump in October 2025, also revealing her February due date in an Instagram post.
“Baby boy Griffin coming,” she wrote at the time.
While sharing her pregnancy news with viewers that same day, Alyssa gushed, “I’m so glad to not have to hide it anymore. I can breathe!”
Alyssa gave Justin, 37, a shoutout on air as “the most supportive husband in the world.”
She continued, “I’m so overjoyed. I went through IVF. It was hard. It took us about a year. It took us five rounds, but [my son is in] here. He’s coming.”
Alyssa spoke to People further about her in vitro fertilization journey, noting that she was diagnosed with endometriosis during the process.
“I went undiagnosed my whole life,” the political commentator told the outlet. “So that just added to the complications.”
Alyssa went on to clarify that she and Justin want to eventually have two children, starting with a boy because she “always liked the idea of a big brother looking out for the younger siblings.”
She added, “I’m so excited to be a boy mom, even though I’ll be outnumbered at home because we have two male dogs.”
Alyssa and Justin’s years-long relationship briefly ended in 2020 — until the “devastated” ABC personality posted a “sexy beachside photo,” she revealed on “The View” in 2023.
“He was calling me the next day and we were back together within a few days,” she boasted. “Make them know what they’re missing. … I love a good thirst trap.”
Justin got down on one knee in July 2020.
The couple walked down the aisle in November of the following year in Vero Beach, Fla.
While celebrating their fourth anniversary via Instagram, Alyssa called Justin her “favorite person in the world.”
