Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson Tie the Knot Legally Ahead of Intimate Bahamas Celebration
Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are officially husband and wife.
Page Six has obtained a copy of the couple’s marriage certificate, filed Thursday in Palm Beach, Florida. The ceremony was officiated by the Trump family’s longtime real estate attorney, Brad McPherson.
The 48-year-old son of President Trump and 39-year-old Anderson are now legally married, ahead of a private Bahamas wedding this Memorial Day weekend. According to sources, the couple has planned an intimate island ceremony, keeping the guest list small and personal.
The timing of the nuptials, however, may affect family attendance. President Trump told reporters he considers the wedding “not good timing” due to the ongoing conflict in Iran, though he added he would “try and make it.”

“If I do attend, I get killed. If I don’t attend, I get killed,” the president said.
Insiders told Page Six last month that Don Jr. and Anderson had considered delaying their official ceremony to avoid any political or public backlash. “They’re very aware that a lavish White House wedding while people are suffering wouldn’t be well-received,” a source said, noting the recent state dinner for King Charles. “They want the timing to feel right.”
Despite the careful planning, celebrations have already begun. Anderson hosted a stunning “enchanted garden”-themed bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in April, with notable guests including Ivanka Trump and her daughter Arabella Kushner, Lara Trump, and Tiffany Trump.
The couple first got engaged in December 2025 after just one year of dating. Don Jr. popped the question at Camp David during a birthday getaway for Anderson. “No one was surprised, but everyone is excited for the happy couple,” a source told Page Six at the time.
Before Anderson, Don Jr. was married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he shares five children. Vanessa has reportedly given her full blessing to the new union and is now dating golf superstar Tiger Woods.
With the legal paperwork complete, all eyes now turn to the Bahamas for the romantic island celebration of Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson’s love story.
